The design of a filter must meet operational requirements. The GATHER filter with drain plug is a universal filter even suited for adverse process conditions. It can be used at temperatures of up to 350°C and system pressures of up to 300 bar. Filter types of stainless steel and Hastelloy also enable aggressive fluids to be handled.
The provision of „pleated“ filter elements results in a compact design and large filter area so that only minor pressure losses are encountered.Accordingly, the filter is optimum choice for pre-filtering service in suction piping, for example to protect GATHER magnetic-drive gear pumps.
